New empty house tour from 2015!! A peek at where my studio will be!

Hello friends!

So until I can get the "At Jules house" website built I will be sharing new content over here.

I recently found the old video clips of my recording my house tour the day I got my keys back in April 2015. Manny was at work so I pulled out my phone and recorded. It's a little rough but I got it done.

Here, let me show the video:

Please come over to watch and subscribe, I would love to have you be part of that side of my life!

Oh, I also mentioned some inspirational pics of what I would like to implement in my house. One of the things I wanted to do was to add a striped wall...

I'll share with you guys if I did this or not....LOL

Black doors!...?....yes, I wanted to paint all of the indoor doors black. It really doesn't look bad at all....LOOK...They really pop don't you think?!

We shall see if Manny let's me do this! No, I didn't paint the doors.....yet! πŸ˜‰

I want to share a little more but I'll wait until I get the website for "At Jules House" ready, so stay tuned.

Here's the video tour and thanks for stopping by!

I'll add the actual video later on today.

See you soon!!
xoxo, Jules

How I fix my YT video dimensions in blogger, with video tutorial!!

Hello makers and creators!

Some of you may know that I've been on YT for years (since around 2008-2009) then took a long break and during that break I kinda didn't think about all of the changes and updates that are made in the techy world so coming back was like learning to ride a bike say the least!

I didn't realize how much I missed it and even wonder why I didn't at least try to add a little here and there more often that I did.

One of the things I had to learn again was to make my YT video proportions the same in my blog posts as they were on YT. They seemed to transfer over smaller and in different proportions. I didn't notice these changes until almost a dozen videos later and went hunting for the answers to fix this issue. SMH!! LOL

So once I found out again how to fix that in the HTML code box I not only had to share this with you guys but especially for my own reference! Cuz ya' know....I'm a little older and things take me a bit longer now! πŸ˜‰

I hope I don't ever have to stay away as long as I did and too, I really love learning tons of new things and sharing as I grow!

I created a video tutorial about this and in this video I played with some graphics and implemented some new things I've been finding out about in iMovie! I hope it's entertaining for you. If it is please let me know in the comments below.

Do you make videos on YT? I hope this helps you if you didn't already know!

If you're a paper crafter please visit my shop HERE or in click the link in the header that says "The Jule Box Shop".

Here's my video! Have a great day guys!

My die organization and my storage solution to save money!!

Hello friends!

I've been working hard in the studio, getting it ready for a tour. It all started when I did my "What's in my Basket" video. I started to purge through the contents and decided to organize them all into new envelopes and maybe new containers too.... but did I really want to pay another $40-$60?? Not really. Let me share with you what I did to save some money on my containers and how I finally got all of these dies, stamps and embossing folders stored!

Here's my video!

If you would like to watch Corene's box tutorial video, HERE it is!

1- The envelopes I purchased for this project:

πŸ’•Small CD envelopes from Simon Says Stamp

One of my fav things to do is Candle making!!

Hey guys!

I've recently went into business with my sister Lisa and her daughter Alissa in LA. While caring for my dad (there's all f us kids) sometimes there's downtime. We've created a beauty line, a Vegan beauty/skincare/aromatherapy line 😁 full of all natural components and high end ingredients and I gotta say, we are very proud of our recipes! You can find us on IG

My role?? Making candles and wax melts and I LOVE it! I researched for 2 months or so....the process, different waxes, different oils, different blends, it's good to find what works for you, then....ahhhh 😍 I've found it just as therapeutic as scrapbooking. So, I make candles for myself now!

One of my favorite places to get some of my fragrance oils is

I recently ordered from them and did a haul video where I share what I got and what all the scent notes are!!

One of my fav candlemakers to watch on youtube is Erica from "Memory Box Candle Co" on youtube! Check her out!

SO now I leave you with my haul video!

See ya later makers!!

What's in my basket??

Hello again friends!

I was so excited that I was able make another video before I left for LA to share! This basket had been sitting for 3-4 years and although I had picked in it for a couple of projects here and there I still didn't know what all was in it. When I started recording and took everything out I saw tons of adorable Coco and Reno die sets in there that I just had to save them for last. Glad I did too because OMG I'm just in love with them!!

This video was almost 2 hours long because of all the gasping shock of cuteness that was in there and not to mention my zillions of sneezes....I had some bad allergy juju this day that my ribs, sides and back were just sore from it, it was bad ya'll! So, I was able to edit and condense the video to 42 minute because there were tons of goodies to share.

I hope you enjoy the video (I had so much fun recording again!). There are some links I mentioned in the video that I will link below for you to check out ok!
