"Garden Party" Shabby Cards for friends!!

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for coming by to see today's post! I wanted to share some cards I made using my trims  from "The Jule Box Shop" and Patsy's ribbons

If you've been around this scrapbooking community on YouTube and Blogger for a couple/3 years you may have seen this collection by DCWV, "The Garden Party"? It's about 3 years old and so pretty!

DCWV has been known for an array of styles of paper designs and those papers are thick!! The mat stack which is what I used is perfect for cards too. As you'll see in my video below. Please stay a bit and watch!

I hope you enjoyed the video!!

"Family" Mixed Media Altered Wood Blocks!

Hello friends!

For one of my last assignments for Wild Orchid Crafts I created a Mixed Media project using 6 wooden blocks I got from Craft Warehouse! I used Simple Stories older paper collection called "Documented" (it's about 2 years old). It is such a BEAUTIFUL collection that I bought 2 packs!

I posted a product list at the end of this post for you to reference if you needed, but first I'll share my pics of this fun project! Warning, it is photo heavy!......well it is 6 individual blocks after all and too....I really LOVE the close-ups!! Then the 2 part video tutorial as I put this project together! Thanks!

whew....ok, that was just the "F"!! lol

I think framing this little flower on the lace was too cute...I think I might just frame a doily for my hallway!! So shabby!

This is the chicken wire chipboard on the left side of the "Y" panel. LOVE the detail!

Took a bit to get these done, but I am so happy with the finished look now that I'm all done! I hope you enjoyed it!

This project was made for a friend of mine! I can't wait until she gets it.....I'm ansy!!

Here is a product list with links for the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and items I used! Some are no longer available but there are great replacements to choose from on the WOC site! Please let me know if you have any questions about this project! Thanks so much for stopping in friends!
