Pion Designs "Any Occasion" Shabby Card!!

I have just been able to do little things here and there since my return from vacationing with the familia....and it's been a while since I've posted a project here but here's a card to share with you today! It was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest! SO much inspiration there!! SERIOUSLY!

I think it's so easy to over flower projects if you are a "Shabby Chic" artist, which I am, so I try to be careful when applying my flowers and lace and pearls and things. I have seen projects where I'm unable to identify what it is because it's covered severely with flowers and lace....I mean, who doesn't like flowers??! I get it!! But, I want to try to keep the integrity of that project, so I hope that I don't smother them ever and allow them to shine for what they are. So this card does showcase flowers but it had a purpose and theme! LOL

It's an all occasion card with a spring touch using Wild Orchid Crafts flowers
on the beautiful Pion Design's "Grandma's Schoolbook! Such gorgeous paper!
I chose to highlight some yellow in this one!

Here is the card and the video tutorial to follow with a product list!

I also added a little something something on the inside! :) Why not right!? lol

And here's my video tut!

My visit with Beverly at "The Piece By Piece"!!

Hello and happy almost weekend!!

Today I'm excited to finally start sharing my traveling
adventures with you all!

So if you follow me on FB, you'll know that I've had a busy Summer with my family....hmmmm, maybe I've shared that here too?:)

One of my stops as I traveled to Los Angeles was a pit stop in the beautiful Northern part of California!! A little out of the way spot.....kinda worried me that I was maybe I saw the signs for Fremont! There was a sigh of relief as I started to see
signs of civilization! It was kinda weird to drive through windy roads and see hills, then trees that went on and on.....and then, I drive right into an older looking "Main Street" of a cozy and quaint little town of Fremont! There were shops lined up for a good few minutes....although I didn't drive it at all or look at what there was, I had blinders on only looking for my sweet friend
Beverly's shop!!............
....and then I see it!!
We park to go see Ms Beverly!
But look at this view....gorgeous right!!?
 We made it!!
As soon as we walked in, we greeted each other with a hug!
Watch the video at the end of this post to see some
video footage of our visit and my haul!

Here are some pictures of  this beautiful shop...
"The Piece By Piece"!
(You can find her Etsy shop HERE!)
The back wall was painted with chalk paint!!
 Here we are!
and being super silly!
ah.....I had been driving for a day and 1/2!!
I was so tired... I know I looked it too!!
I had a fun visit with Beverly, she's super sweet and so
adorable! She totally rocked that blue hair too!
Isn't she cute!!?
Thank you Beverly for the goodies, can't wait to play with them!

Here's a little bit of our visit on video and my haul
with the yummy gifts Beverly gave me! YAY!!

Have a great day and thank you so much for hanging out with me today! HUGS!!!:)

Just some info to let you be aware of!

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by for a sec!

I am making changes on here...well, it all has to do with the shop part of my blog. I recently pulled the link to my lace post because of really bad code issues. I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. I will be moving the shop to another place on blogger and will connect it with this one!! I'm excited about it, but there is a lot of work to be done, so please, please be patient with me. I hope to have it all done with a smooth transition, but I'm sad to say that I don't know when it will all be done as I have bad days where I can't do much. I will be letting you all know once things are rolling and when you would be able to look at the sales listings and place your orders.

As far as projects go....hmmm...not sure on that either. I haven't created for a bit.... so as soon as I can play with some paper and glue, I'll be sharing it here!

Thanks so much for your support and for your patience! You all really do mean so much to me!

Have a fabulous day and I'll be chatting with you all soon!
