Cupcake birthday invite and desert labels using Accucut dies!

Hey everyone!

Today I wanted to share a project I made for a friend of mine! Her little preemie baby is turning 1!! It's crazy how time flies....she was just in the hospital having her! I got together with Misty and asked her if I can help. She asked me to make some Birthday invites and if I could do some labels for a desert table since the birthday party is "Sweet" themed! Of course I dove right into the idea and came up with some cute invites and matching table labels!!

Using "My Minds Eye" Lime Twist Collection called "Life of the Party"! This paper has some great colors and fit the design perfectly!

So this project would not have came out so cute without using some Accucut dies! I used 3! Both "Sweet Treat" album dies and the "Square Card Mats" die. You can order some sets of these cuts here.

Using my fav paper flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts!

Pearly flat trim and ribbon from my local Hobby Lobby! Flat single flowers are from Prima and Petaloo:)

Shimmer sprays I used were from Tattered Angels "Glimmer Mists" and Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays!

In my video, I shared the entire project from start to finish using MAC iMovie.....OMG, this program ROCKS!! I taught myself!! Thanks honey for the MAC!! Muah!!
Here is the video.....detailed pics to follow! Enjoy!

(above)  I made a blank one just in case there
was an unexpected dish!
(above) Side view of the stand:)
(above) Misty asked for this one to be hung off a basket that will hold packets of tea and cocoa! I left out the middle part
and sealed it, then punched a couple holes
to tie the label to the basket with ribbon!
(above) I left 3 flat so it's easier to write in something.
I had so much fun making these.....let me show you my table! I had a few stacks and a few piles!
Not much has changed! lol
I packed them up and Misty came
by to pick them up!
ahhhh! All done! :)

If your interested in any Accucut die cuts,
I have some available on my post here

Have an awesome New Year everyone, see you in 2012!
Hugs, Jules

Shabby "Butterfly Garden" Switchplate!

Hello everyone!

I'm sharing a little project I made today! I was pretty tired of the plastic boring light switch plate I had in my craft room and I found a pretty wooden one that I could alter from my local
Craft Warehouse!
$1.99!!! Not too bad huh?:)

So....looking at this all day, was old!
 Look how boring!
I took the wooden one and went to town with it!

I recorded this project and taught myself a new editing program (A lot of work editing, just so you know)! So I hope you enjoy this project and the video tutorial!

Enjoy the video and detail pics that will follow!

I love it on my wall now! I had to make a few adjustments since the switch opening on the wood plate was bigger than the one on the plastic plate...I just added some paper to the back of the wooden plate:) It's all good though! I LOVE it!

It's close to the framing but it fit!

What an awesome paperbag album from my friend!

Hello friends!!

I received 2 packages in the mail last week and these ladies are so sweet! I shared them on video but wanted to share an album that Carol (mammapug on youtube) made for me. Her box was so huge I had to open it on the floor and at the bottom of the box was this album that I didn't think I was able to share really well on the floor so I decided to take pictures of the album and every page and share it on my blog so you all can see the amazing work Carol did on it!

Caterina, Carol, I am soooo blessed to have you both as friends and really did appreciate your gifts to me. In the weeks prior I was really goinf through a hard time physically and getting your gifts really helped cheer me up! So, thanks so much!!

Here is Carols album!! Thanks so much for stopping by you guys. Have a Blessed Christmas!!!

Under this page is another area for pics!! Sweet!
I love how Carol put our names on the stockings!! Too cute!
In the picture above, Carol added some little tags in the Maya Road envelope for me:)
Each bag pocket had this huge Kraft tag with a sweet decorative border! Perfect for a large photo or journaling!

Here is the backside.....
Now it has a home and sits on my shelf for the Holidays! Thanks so much Carol!:)

If your interested in the video, you can watch it below, please feel free to fast forward through was a HUGE box of goodies and everything was individually wrapped in Christmas paper....Carol wanted me to feel like a kid on Christmas morning.....and omg, did it ever! Then.....I lose it when I find that it was her who sent it to me!!

Have a Blessed Christmas everyone!! xo, Jules
