Altered envelope with card!

Hey everyone!

Hope you are having a great day you guys:) Fall is almost here...that means the kids are either about to start school or have just started!! What are yours doing!?

I made this project with a "Happy Birthday" sentiment on it, but after making it, I thought....This would also be great for a gift for a new or returning college student! This one is girly...but I'm sure a masculine one can be made too...gotta work on that one! *giggle*

This project is a gift card/check/cash holder with an embellished Maya Road kraft envelope using some great Wild Orchid Crafts products! Here are some pics and the video at the end! If you LOVE MR envelopes, I carry them in my shop here

On the left is the Maya Road envelope that has a closure on the back! On the right is the card holder~

Here is the card holder:

Here is the item list of the products I used:
~#FM-00413 "Wild Roses" 30mm (approx 1 1/4")
~#FM-00222 Mixed color "Open Roses" 15mm (1/2")
~#FM-00023 2 tone yellow "Open Roses" 15mm (1/2")
~#FM-00008 Pale Pink "Open Roses" 15 mm (1/2")
~#FS-00265 Deep Ivory "Sweetheart Blossom"
~#FM-00483 Lt Ivory "Hip Rosebuds"

~#SB-00023 Seam Binding "Moss Green"
~#SP-00013 Flat back pearls (yellow tones)
~#JW-00020 Mixed metal embellishments (13ct) -used bronze butterfly-

This project was pretty fun and easy. I can do a tut if needed, but I think the video will help.....either way you guys can let me know if you need some extra info!

Here is the video:)  Thanks! xo, Jules
